Forgiveness: a church that owns its corporate sin
I. “Come, let us return to the Lord. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He
will bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the Third day that we may
live before Him. So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord.” Hosea 6:1-3
II. “I prayed to the Lord and confessed — We have sinned and rebelled; we have not listened —
Righteousness belongs to Thee O Lord, but to us open shame” Daniel 9:4-7 portions
III. “Because you are lukewarm, …I will spit you out of My mouth. Because you say ‘I am rich… and have
need of nothing’, and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and
naked. … Those whom I love, I reprove – therefore repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock; if
anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he
with Me.” Revelation 3:16-20 portions
