We have begun implementing the following safety measures.
- Training regarding emergency evacuation; limited access and locked doors; identifying potential threats; and specific training that includes those among us who legally carry weapons for protection if needs arise.
- Security cameras are being installed in appropriate locations. Everyone who works with children in Nursery care through 17 years of age must submit a New York State background check. (Background Check can be done here)This is mandatory with no exceptions.In addition, also mandatory is participation in an annual training for Abuse and/or Neglect awareness, prevention, and reporting program.
