The Evangelical Free Church of America
Evangelical: The Bible is true. It proclaims that humanity is separated from a holy God due to sinfulness. Jesus’ death on the Cross covered the penalty of sin. Those who admit their helpless condition to redeem themselves, surrendering their self-efforts by inviting Jesus to be their all-sufficient Savior, will be forgiven and become “born from above” in a new relationship with God. (John 3:1-18).
Free: An autonomous local church, free to manage under the authority of the Bible. We choose an affiliation with like-minded churches observing the same Statement of Faith, and willingly cooperate for purposes of Pastoral credentialing, Mission and Ministry philosophy, and mutual support.
